This is a 14-hour course and covers Louisiana and U.S. rules and regulations, defensive driving techniques, as well as alcohol and drug abuse. Once completed, you will take the DMV/OMV written test at our driving school. Once classroom course is completed, you will complete 8 hours of behind the wheel instruction, at the end of which, you will be given an assessment. After you pass the assessment, you will receive a certified Certificate of Completion; this will qualify you to get a permit. If you would like to skip the permit stage and go directly to a driver's license, you will need to complete a road skills test, which is also given at Fast Track Driving Academy. All road skills tests costs $40. This is NOT included in the driver's education cost of $355 and must be paid AFTER 8 hours behind the wheel are completed and assessment is passed.

The 14-Hour Pre-Licensing Course includes:

• 6 hours of classroom instruction
• 8 hours of one-on-one behind-the-wheel instruction
• DMV/OMV written test at our driving school
• TIP card is REQUIRED to take course and must be brought to class. 

If you are paying by check, please include the student's name in your correspondence when sending payment and allow 3-5 business days for mailing time. You may also print the ledger and send it with your payment to help us log your check payment to the proper student account.
